Dwyane Wade Lists Miami Beach Mansion For $32.5 Million

The retired NBA star Dwyane Wade spent most of his professional basketball career with the Miami Heat, but now various outlets have reported that he’s severing at least one of the roots he’s put down in South Florida, by listing the large – nearly 14,000-square-foot Miami Beach mansion – on property he purchased in 2010 for an asking price of $32.5 million.
Wade reportedly spent $10.645 million on the land alone nine years ago, but it took another five years for construction on the house itself to be finished. The two-story Mediterranean-style home has six bedrooms and nine baths, as well as an interesting hybrid indoor-outdoor family room and amenities like a wine room, home movie theater, and salon.
That’s just on the first floor. On the second floor, you’ll find the home’s “master retreat,” which combines the usual master bedroom and bath with a spacious lounge area. Outside there’s a courtyard, pool, a gazebo with a built-in bar, a private dock, and 165 feet of coastline against Miami’s Biscayne Bay. Here’s how the property is described in its official listing:

The decision, on Wade and his wife Gabrielle Union’s part, to sell the home may be related to a purchase the couple made last year, when they reportedly closed a deal for a $6 million house in the Sherman Oaks neighborhood of Los Angeles.
