This Huge Estate In The Hamptons Just Got A $30M Price Cut, Now Listed At $145M

It’s spread across 42 acres in the Hamptons , it’s been on the market for almost two years without a sale, and now according to its most recent listing on Bespoke Real Estate it’s now $30 million cheaper. It’s called Jule Pond , and it’s now got an asking price of $145 million.

Located in Southampton, Jule Pond’s recent $30 million price chop means that it is no longer the most expensive home listing in the Hamptons, which was a position it held at the $175 million price point. It first went up for sale back in August of 2017, so far without success, despite being a very impressive piece of property.

How impressive? Enough for its original owner, none other than Henry Ford , for whom it was originally built, per Business Insider. The main house at Jule Pond has a generous 20,000 square feet of space, with room for 12 bedrooms, 12 bathrooms, a library complete with indoor koi pond and waterfall, and various ornate furnishings. But what makes the property really special is arguably outside: Not just the swimming pool and tennis court, but gorgeous Southampton views and a beautiful stretch of beach side wilderness and multiple ponds.

Also outside, you’ll find a six-car garage, greenhouse, basketball court, and even a three-bedroom “carriage house.” And as the Bespoke Real Estate listing states, Jule Pond is a distinguished property even in the Hamptons, which has some of the finest real estate in the world:
